It Fell From The Sky

In 2018 Chaos Engine created art embracing the demonic nature of the festival Copenhell. To capture the audience attention, we knew the art piece had to be a good combination between rough and aesthetic, aligning with our clients vision of giving “all of that which you don’t get anywhere else”. With that in mind, we made a video installation using 3D animation to display an eyeball on a 9 meter high grid construction.

It Fell From The Sky

Thinking of Odin from the Old Norse mythology, we created a naturalistic eye during the day, illustrating him watching over us – a parallel to the mass surveillance in our modern society today. By night the eye lit up in fire, capturing the attention of the audience once again. The eyeball is made of 2 diameter fiberglass ball, mounted on the grid construction, which was safely casted in concrete.
